Accepted into Job Corps! - Mar 3, 2009, 6:56 pm

Praise the Lord! God’s answered your prayers, and I’ve just been accepted into the Idaho Job Corps! Pray that I’ll get in quickly, and for guidance in packing and preparing to move (I live in Seattle). Please pray for guidance in what I should study; I think I’ll study to become a Nurse’s Assistant. Also, Job Corps has a program where they pay for 2 years of community college, but I’ve already gone for almost 2 years. Pray for wisdom on whether to take advantage of that program, where to go, and what to study. Pray that my roommate will be a Christian, that we’ll get along well, and pray that I’ll make a lot of friends there. Also pray for favor and success, that I’ll stay close to the Lord, and pray that I’ll find a good church in the area. And pray that God will bless me financially before I go to Job Corps.

I just got the leak fixed on my car, but the 2nd gear transmission doesn’t work; the car still drives decent and has no other serious problems. Pray for guidance on what to do. I’m going to Job Corps soon in another state, and for some reason they say we shouldn’t bring a car. I can’t really afford to get it fixed, and right now I don’t have insurance, but I’ve been driving it anyway. Should I bring the car to Idaho, should I get it fixed, should I leave it here, or sell it? Pray that if I get it fixed, God will provide a cheap way to get a transmission. Pray for God’s blessing, guidance and protection over this.

Dear God, I still love Christine, even though she divorced me. We were only together a brief time. Yet the divorce took years. I refuse to believe it was all about money. I believe she still loves me. I've seen her tears and confusion. Her reasons for the divorce kept changing all the time. None of them were serious enough to cause a divorce. We share a child. We have five between us. I feel like there was nothing that we couldn't work through together, if only we tried. God, I love this woman and her children. I would sacrifice anything for her, and she knows that. Please God, guide her back to me, so I can be the best husband and father you can guide me to be. Haven't I been tested enough the last several years? Please help me now. Time is almost up.

Please join me in praying for a miracle. I am praying for the restoration of my marriage. We have been apart 11 months now and my wifes heart seems to be softening. I am praying for her salvation as well as the breaking of all bondages and stronghold that have attacked her. She has left now for basic training in the national guard so I am also praying for her safety as God works in her heart and in our marriage.

I would like to request prayer for my children. Please pray that God will heal the hurts and stress that my husband and I have caused them and that they will be able to forgive us. Please pray that God will grant them the desires of their hearts and that they will let God lead and guide them and direct them on the right paths for their futures.
